SPH 2106A - Non-Verbal Communication
An investigation of various aspects of non-verbal communi cation, their relationship to verbal communication and their effects on human behavior. Topics will include proxemics, kinesics, eye gaze, facial expression, environmental effects and intercultural practices. This course is designed as a strongly advised discipline elective for Speech and Dramatic Art majors and other qualified students at the junior or senior level. Prerequisite: SPH 1004C, or junior or senior standing, or permission of the instructor.
