This course is a discussion of food nutrition, dietary
requirements, and nutrients for older adult populations.
Role of ethnic, social, economic, psychological, and
physiological factors influencing dietary attitudes will be
covered. Specific issues such as malnutrition,
supplementation, nutrient diseases and disorders related
to the aged will also be covered.
