SMP 2061N - Wellness, Exercise Older Adult
This course is designed to acquaint students with activities and programs appropriate for aged adults. The benefits and relationship of physical activity and exercise will be discussed. Special considerations for conditions and disease such as CVD, arthritis, obesity, diabetes and cancer will be explored. Exercise testing and appropriate exercise guidelines specific to the elderly will be included.
