PSY 2017A - Psychology of Aging
This course examines development from young adulthood through old age and death. Biological, cognitive, and social development of the human during this time period will be discussed. Particular concern will be given to how these different areas of development influence each other, e.g. how social and cognitive development are inter- dependent. Development is a life-long process, and therefore, humans are forever changing. This course will explore the many changes that occur during adulthood-- the longest age range of the human life cycle. Prerequisite: Six credits in Psychology or permission of the instructor. Recommended Prerequisite: PSY 2015A.
