PSY 2015A - Developmental Psychology I
This course examines development from conception to adolescence, focusing on the biological, cognitive, and social development of the human being during this time period. Particular concern is given to how these different areas of development influence each other, e.g., how social and cognitive development are interdependent. An examination of developmental theories and their application to real life settings, e.g., educational learning environ- ments, is also included. Prerequisite: PSY 1001A or PSY 1002A.
