PSY 1001A - Introduction to Psychology
This introductory course will provide students with an overview of the current body of knowledge and methods of the science of psychology. Topics will include the historical foundations of psychology, conducting research in psychology, biological bases of behavior, sensation and perception, human development, learning, memory, cognition, consciousness, intellegence, language, motivation, emotion, personality, the diagnosis and treatment of psychological disorders, and social behavior.
