POL 1011A - American Government & Politics
This course is an introduction to American government and politics. It will consider how political, economic, and cultural factors influence American political processes and institutions. Particular attention will be given to the following: the structure and functioning of government institutions, the role of political parties and interest groups, and the formation and implementation of public policy.
