Mathematical development of probability theory and
statistical models, including frequency distributions;
discrete and continuous distributions; mathematical expecta-
tion, mean, variance, interval and point estimation;
correlation; testing of hypotheses; small-sample methods;
and the chi square test.
Prerequisites: C- or better in MTH 1017A and MTH 1022A
or a challenge exam.
