MGT 6395 - The Management Consulting Exp.
The Management Consulting Experience course brings real-world decision-making into the academic environment. Working in project teams, students are faced with problems related to the management of an organization and develop solutions based upon the knowledge gained from previous coursework and research targeted at the problem assigned. The problems addressed are drawn from current industrial issues and are presented and supervised by representatives from both regional and national organizations. Project teams interface with both faculty and the industry represen tative throughout the course, and provide realistic and usable results in the form of written reports, research papers and oral presentations using technology as a tool to enhance the process. This is a capstone course option for students enrolled in our MBA programs. Prerequisite: Completion of 24 graduate credits, including all MBA Core courses.
