MGT 2175N - Compensation and Benefits
This course is an introduction to the management of compen- sation and benefits programs in the context of its political and social environments. The substance of management tech- niques, the relationship between, and strategic uses of compensation and benefits will be discussed. Issues ranging from executive pay to health insurance systems are reviewed. The evolution of employee benefit regulation will be analyzed in the context of neoclassical and classical theories about regulation. Prerequisite: MGT 2075N.
