This course examines a range of authors, themes, genres, and/or periods in literature. Offerings might include such topics as "Americans in Paris", "American Gothic", "Flaubert and the Novel", "Symbolism", "Magic Mountain and Its World", "Tolstoy vs. Dostoyevsky", and "Transatlantic Literature".
