GER 4189A - Special Topics in Gerontology
A special series on selected topics relating to gerontology. Courses will be designed by faculty from a variety of disciplines including, but not limited to, anthropology, economics, history, philosophy, political science, psychology, sociology, social work, & visual arts. Since gerontology is an interdisciplinary program, students taking these classes may receive credit for an elective in the gerontology program or in the cross-listed department. The emphasis will be on current issues and research related to aging and policies impacting the aged. Prerequisite: An introductory level course in social sciences.
