EDE 9808 - Planned Change in Organizatns
This course builds upon a knowledge of classical and contemporary theories of organizational behavior in social institutions. Through analytical frames of reference the major constructs for understanding organizational culture are developed. These frames are overlaid on written case studies and simulations of social organization. The transfer of applicable theories to strategies for planned change is specified and explicated by individuals and teams within the course. Major emphasis is placed on improving leadership practice.
