EDE 8741 - Computers for Ed Administrator
This course focuses on the potential instructional and administrative uses of computers in elementary, secondary, and district office environments. Topics include equipment, software, computer-assisted instruction, computer-managed instruction, spreadsheets, database programs, word processing software, the role of selected computer languages such as BASIC and LOGO, and the evaluation of the computer as an instructional tool. Students will develop competencies in these areas through a 'hands on' approach with utilizing hardware and software.
