|ECN 4197N - Cooperative Intern in Economic|
Individualized paid work experience designed to
enable the student to apply material learned in economics
courses in a real-world work environment in either the
public or private sector. The student will be evaluated
based on the nature of the student's contributions to the
employer, the employer's evaluation(s) of the student, a
report prepared by the student of not fewer than ten pages
describing and evaluating the nature of his/her internship
experience, and additional relevant work as determined by
the internship faculty advisor. Refer to the Career
Services section in this catalog for more details.
Prerequisites: Approval of the Economics department;
accumulation of 75 credits with a G.P.A. of 2.6; 12 credits
and a G.P.A. of 3.0 in this discipline; completion of Career
Services' Resume Writing & Interviewing Skills workshops.
