DRM 1018A - Improvisation
This course is devoted almost entirely to learning how to make things and ideas visible in action. Skills in nonverbal communication and the development of external aspects of characterization are emphasized, as are students' ability to concentrate, relax, and image. The course begins with individual performances but, as the improvisations become more complex, refined ensemble playing is the ultimate result.
