DRM 1013A - Acting I
This course aims to allow students to discover the nature of acting. Its focus, therefore, is not on vocal and physical technique, but on developing the actor's imagination through mime, improvisation, theatre games, and conversational forms. Equal time is spent on doing and seeing, acting and evaluating, nonverbal communication skills, and the analysis of lines and scenes. Students create in-studio performances and also may assist on a current College production.
