CSC 3174N - Visualization
This course provides a hands-on and application-oriented approach to visualization and 3D computer graphics. Topics include the computer graphics and visualization pipelines, visualization algorithms, data representations, basic image processing, visual perception, and applications of visualization. This course presents introductory as well as more advanced topics on visualization. Under the guidance of the Mathematics and Computer Science Department chair, students will have the opportunity to further explore a visualization topic of their choosing by completing a course project. Prerequisite: CSC 1024N or permission of the Mathematics and Computer Science Department chair.
