CSC 2281A - Network Design &Queuing Theory |

This course offers an interdisciplinary survey of
network flows, queuing theory, computer networks, data
communications and the applications of network theory to
information systems and transportation systems. Students
are introduced to problems related to shortest path and
network flow algorithms, queuing theory, routing and
scheduling, discrete and continuous capacity assignment,
data communications hardware and protocols, and error
control.
Prerequisites: CSC 1024N or permission of the
Mathematics and Computer Science Department chair.
