CHM 3037A - Analytical Chemistry Lab
Analytical Chemistry Lab is designed to be taken as either a stand-alone entity or in conjuction with Analytical Chemistry (CHM 3035A). This laboratory course deals with the bench-top, instrumental, and theoretical tools relevant to chemical/analytical analyses in the fields of Chemistry, Environmental Science, and other related areas. Modern instrumental techniques will be explored in a variety of ways, ranging from unknown concentration determination to compound identification and beyond. The statistics of chemical analysis will also be touched upon, both on paper and utilizing a spread-sheet program. Bench-top techniques will also be employed. Prerequisites: CHM 1001C, CHM 1002C, CHM 1003C, CHM 1004C, MTH 1014A.
