AVM 6362 - Corp/Strat Plan Aviation Ind
This course is designed to provide the student with an integrated analysis of strategic planning and management within the aviation industry. It is presumed that the student has an understanding of the fundamentals of planning. Students will review those fundamentals and focus on planning as an ongoing process of information exchange. Special attention will be paid to the elements of decision analysis and the analysis of management problems involving decisions under conditions of uncertainty. The course will stress the importance of adjusting planning concepts and management philosophies in order to keep pace with the dynamic elements impacting the industry. Prerequisite(s): AVM 6361.
