AER 1002N - Comm.& Reg.Aspects of Air Trns
A study of the U.S. commercial air transport industry and the U.S. Government agencies such as DOT, FAA, and NTSB that are involved in the air transport industry. The focus is on U.S. commerical air transportation and the pertinent legislation governing that sector of the industry. An in-depth analysis and comparative study of the U.S. airline industry in the "pre-deregulation" environment versus the intensely competitive "post-deregulation" environment, provides the student with a keen understanding of the evolution of the U.S. airline industry. Students will also be introduced to the international framework of commercial air transport.
