ACC 6243 - Health Care Mngment Accounting
This course provides the student with an overview of Financial and Managerial Accounting theories and methodologies, as they pertain to Health Care Organizations (HCO). The student will become familiar with financial statements of these types of organizations from both the user and preparer's perspective. The student will be having a limited exposure of federal and state laws affecting Health Care Organizations. Prerequisites: One Year of Principles of Accounting (ACC 2001N and ACC 2002N) or equivalent.
