ACC 4182N - Research Seminar in Fin Acct
The primary purpose of the undergraduate research seminar in financial accounting is to provide students with an opportunity to investigate trends and developments in accounting theory from a practical perspective. Emphasis will be placed on analyzing the consequences and impact of regulations and pronouncements established by federal regulatory bodies, such as the Securities Exchange Commission, the Financial Accounting Standards Board, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Prerequisite: ACC 3072N or permission of the department chair.
