The purpose of the introduction to financial accounting part
one course is to provide students with an opportunity to
learn the language of business as it applies to sole
proprietorships. Emphasis will be placed on valuation,
measurement and disclosure concepts associated with
assets, liabilities and equity transactions as related to
decision making and problem solving situations.
Prerequisite: MTH 1002A.
