EDE 8738 - Public School Finance & Budget
This course is a study of how public education is financed in New York State. Major topics include principles of school finances, revenues and taxes, fiscal problems, school support formulas, the role of the school business administrator, budgeting, accounting, purchasing, insurance, operation and maintenance of school facilities, transportation and food services.
