EDE 6635 - Curr Dev & Instructional Desgn
This course will focus on the digital and curriculum design skills that educators need to design and evaluate an appropriate unit of instruction using digital and other formats. Assessments of students' needs with digital tools will be emphasized and matching learning styles with learner objectives and instructional strategies using digital software will be done by each graduate student with simulated or actual data. Case studies will be used to advance the digital curricula design and assessment skills of these graduate students. Educators will learn how to design, develop, and evaluate an appropriate unit of instruction and conduct an assessment of students' needs; identify learning objectives; analyze learner characteristics; employ instructional strategies; and conduct evaluations.
